Jennifer Cordtz began her real estate career in 2017, after working in retail banking for 11 years. “After having kids, I needed to find a more flexible career,” Jennifer recalls. “I started going to real estate school at Keller Williams here in Palmdale and was a real estate assistant for two top-producing agents in the Antelope Valley, then went out on my own once I passed my exam.” Ever since, Jennifer has been helping her clients achieve their real estate goals. Jennifer serves the Antelope Valley, as well as surrounding Los Angeles/Kern County areas. About 90% of her business comes from repeat and referral clients, an impressive feat that speaks to the trust and confidence she inspires. “I don’t do much paid marketing or mail marketing,” Jennifer says. “It’s really just word of mouth. I just do everything in my power
to deliver the best level of service I can to my clients, and in the future they eventually refer me to their family and friends that are in need.” Her client-focused approach sets Jennifer apart. “For me it’s not about making every dollar for myself,” she explains. “It’s about relating to my clients and trying to help them save money wherever I can. I try to keep more money in their pocket, for both buyers and sellers. I’m a consumer too, and I know how I would want to be treated, so that’s how I conduct my business in every transaction. I love helping people with their biggest financial investment in life, being able to guide them and help them in making the best decision, and having their best interest at heart.” Community involvement is also important to Jennifer. She is the Membership Director for
the Women’s Council of Antelope Valley, where their mission is to advance women as business leaders in the industry and the community they serve. Last year she also founded an influential local Facebook group called AV Sisterhood, to help bring the community together during the statewide pandemic stayat-home order. “Everyone was locked in their homes, feeling isolated and alone,” Jennifer says, “so I created this Facebook group where we could deliver random acts of kindness to one another ding dong ditch style, just to remain Covid safe. It made it so fun for our community to come together and have something to do, while also making one another smile and feel special.” The group grew over 5,000 members in a matter of weeks and is still going strong, celebrating its one-year anniversary May 8th, 2021. When she is not working, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is the mother of 9-year-old triplets Xavier, Carlie and Nalani. The family loves to go RV camping, hiking, taking vacations, as well as relaxing by their pool and hosting pool parties for friends and family. In the future, Jennifer says she plans to maintain her business at its current level so that she can continue providing the same excellent personal customer service for her clients. “I want to continue year over year helping as many families as I’m able to,” Jennifer says. “The sky’s the limit, and you get out of this business what you put into it. If you do good business and you deliver good service to your clients, the repeat business will always follow. I like to work smarter, not harder. It’s about being consistent, having integrity and good motives with each and every client.”
